Baracuda

Baracuda is an application for calculation of capital gains.

Its main advantages over other solutions are:

• independence of the back-office application - historical data can be imported from standardized files (VIR), interface exists for the preparation of data;
• guessing of FIFO queue »from the end« - beginning at the final stock we search for purchase transactions for »live« investments. This shortens the processing time, reduces the quantity of necessary data and consequently reduces the possibility of errors related to corporate actions or missing data;
• clear and user-friendly interface - manual editing of code lists, adding and editing of transactions and corporate actions, parallel processing of clients, overview of calculation results for each client;
• mass printouts of inventory lists and informative calculations of capital gains;
• capital gains forecasts can be generated as an XML file, which can be imported in Slovenian E-taxes governmental web service.
